Place the section at various
close distances.
Switch to a object
in the distance beyond the section.
When
looking at a E on a section or a distant object; remember to shift part to part on the object the eyes are looking
at.
Shift point to point for perfect
central fixation.
Blink and relax.

This is the same activity described for
switching on the 3 pens in a row, chapter 14.Three colored toothpicks can be placed upright 1, 3, 6... inches apart, placed in foam, cardboard
for practicing switching at 3 different close reading distances.
