THE EYES, END OF THE NOSEFEATHER, HEAD/FACE AND BODY MOVE EASY, RELAXED, TOGETHER,
IN SYNCHRONIZATION AT THE SAME TIME, IN THE SAME DIRECTION.
A FLOWING, CONTINUOUS MOVEMENT.
DO THIS ACTIVITY WITH THE EYES CLOSED.
SEE THE MOVING, FLICKERING, LIGHT, SHADOWS, COLOR ON THE CLOSED EYES.
IMAGINE YOU CAN SEE AND FEEL THE END OF THE FEATHER GENTLY HITTING THE RUNGS
OF THE FENCE; HIT, HIT, HIT, HIT, HIT AS IT PASSES ALONG OVER THE RUNGS.
FEEL IT AS A GENTLE RELAXING MASSAGE IN THE HEAD, EYES, BODY.
PRACTICE THIS ACTIVITY WITH THE EYES OPEN.
PRACTICE WITH THE EYES OPEN, CLOSED, OPEN.
WHEN PRACTICING WITH THE EYES OPEN, DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY INTO THE SUN.
PRACTICE WHEN THE SUN IS HIGHER IN THE SKY, ABOVE THE EYES BUT STILL SHINING
THROUGH THE FENCE.
SUNNING AND USE OF THE NOSEFEATHER ACTIVATES RELAXATION OF MIND, BODY, EYES, EYE MUSCLES AND NORMAL MOVEMENT OF THE EYE MUSCLES
TENSION IN THE EYE MUSCLES IS RELEASED.
THE NOSEFEATHER INCREASES RELAXATION AND SACCADIC EYE MOVEMENT.
When moving up and down, avoid bending
the head, neck too far up or down.
good, relaxed posture; eyes, neck, head, body moving together.
When moving the feather along the fence, ladder; the
nosefeather extends out from the nose and the end of the feather bends up to touch the object the eyes are looking at/moving
along at eye level, in the center of the visual field.
See diagram below; the end of the feather is touching the rung of the fence at eye level, center
of the visual field.
When moving the
feather along the fence, ladder, it will bend a little as a normal feather would when moving it along a object.
Don't concentrate on perfect central alignment of the feather.
Just relax, move the feather left and right, up and down along the fence, ladder
and allow it to bend.
Practice moving the eyes (visual attention) and nosefeather on, around
the figure eight to get the eyes, eye muscles, neck relaxed, moving freely, easy in any direction.
Place the figure eight in front of the sun with the sun shining through the
eight onto the face/eyes.
with the eyes closed, then with the eyes open when the sun is not shining directly into the eyes.
